New developments that will have a major impact on the sectorIncreasing economic activity could raise further the number of transactions in the real estate market and boost the rise in prices. With interest rates low, this would increase the growth in housing loans and in loans to real estate companies, and leave the banking sector more vulnerable to risks from the real estate sector.
