The Government of Uganda has implemented a very extensive and far reaching program to reform and privatize different key parts of the economy. As part of this overall program, the government is now also interested in reviewing the housing market, and, in particular, formulating a housing finance policy that may be introduced to serve the specific requirements of the country in the short and medium term.
