UK Financial Services Authority Releases Document on its Approach to Regulation and Consumer Protection

On June 27, 2011, The Financial Services Authority of the UK Government issued a document that sets out the proposed approach the Financial Conduct Authority will take to market regulation and consumer protection.

The FCA  is supposed to deliver significantly higher levels of protection than under the FSA regime and will assume responsibility  from the end of 2012.
